Do I need a SMACNA Membership to register for the Annual Convention?

Is registration required to make a hotel reservation?
Yes, you must complete your registration before proceeding to the Book Hotel section of the 2023 SMACNA Annual Convention Registration & Housing site.
If you do not wish to make your hotel reservation with SMACNA Housing, you must select the Hotel Reservation Opt-Out during the registration process.
How do I add a guest to my registration?
You may add a guest registration after completing the primary registrant's registration on the 2023 SMACNA Annual Convention Registration & Housing site, or you may return to your registration to add a guest at a later date. From the primary registrant's Event Dashboard, select the pull-down menu to select the guest type then proceed through the remaining registration pages.
When is payment due for my registration?
Upon completing your registration and hotel reservation (or selecting Hotel Reservation Opt-Out), you will return to the Event Dashboard. Please select the Proceed to Check Out button to enter payment details. You will automatically receive a registration confirmation after submitting payment.
Your credit card will be charged immediately for registration fees. Hotel charges are not processed immediately, however a credit card is required to guarantee and hold the hotel reservation.
Hotel reservations are removed after 20 minutes if no credit card is entered to guarantee the reservation. Unpaid registrations will be deleted from our system on a weekly basis.

How can I cancel my registration?
You may cancel your registration and receive a full refund on or before August 25, 2023. Cancellations received between August 26 and September 15, 2023 will be assessed a cancellation fee equal to 20% of the registration fees. No refunds will be issued after September 15, 2023.

Please note as registration is required to maintain your hotel reservation through SMACNA Housing, your hotel reservation will also be cancelled. The last day to cancel a hotel reservation without penalty is 7 days prior to arrival. Hotel cancellations received after this time will be charged in the amount of one night's room and tax.
I'm a Chapter Executive and I'd like to register and pay for all members of my chapter.
Chapter Executives may use the Chapter Interface to register and pay for members of their chapter. Be sure to review Chapter Interface User Instructions before proceeding to register for your chapter members.
How can I register as an Exhibitor?
Exhibitors can register individually on the 2023 SMACNA Annual Convention Registration & Housing site. If you are a company contact registering multiple exhibitors, you will need to enter each registration individually and separately using each attendee’s unique SMACNA credentials. Any registration balance due must be paid under each individual registrant’s account.
An Exhibitor attending only the Product Show and not the full meeting will need to obtain an Invitation Code from the exhibiting company contact to bypass full meeting registration. Enter the Invitation Code on the 2nd registration page here:
Exhibitors registering for the full meeting will not need an Invitation Code and will enter payment at the end of the registration process.
Non-Members will be prompted to create an account before proceeding to registration.
When the registration is completed you will be able to email additional copies of the registration confirmation by entering the email address of your choice at the top of the Confirmation page.

- Friday, October 6, 2023 - Contact your hotel directly to change or cancel your reservation
How can I request a suite?
Before contacting SMACNA Housing to request a suite, we recommend that you make a room reservation.
To request a suite, send us a message. Complete the required fields and provide responses to the following:
- If you have a room reservation that you’d like upgraded to a suite, please provide the name that the reservation is booked under and/or the confirmation number.
- Is the suite for sleeping, meetings, hospitality functions, or any combination of these?
- Does the bedroom need to be separate from the sitting area?
- How many adults and children will occupy the suite, and how many beds are needed?
- Let us know which hotel(s) you will consider in order of preference.
- What is the desired price range of the suite?
- Anything else we should know?
