Students / Residents / Fellows
Students, Residents and Fellows must submit proof of status attesting to current enrollment as a student, employment as a resident or appointment as a fellow to receive discounted registration fees.
One of the following must be submitted:
* Student/Resident ID that has an expiration date. If your Student/Resident ID does not have an expiration date on it, you may send it along with a copy of your transcript or letter of acceptance from your educational institution or resident program.
OR
* A dated letter from your institution on letterhead, signed by an advisor or department head showing that you are currently enrolled as a student, employed as a resident, or have a fellowship.
To request the discounted registration fee please submit your proof of status to adasupport@cmrus.com or fax to (415) 293-4073. Upon receipt and verification of your proof of status you will be sent an Invitation Code via email to register.
Group Registration
Group Registration is available to groups of 10 or more attendees. Download the New Orleans In-Person Meeting contract or the Virtual Meeting Only contract and submit the completed form to adagroups@cmrus.com or by fax to (415) 293-4073. Once received, your submission will be acknowledged within 24 business hours via a welcome letter, including a spreadsheet for submitting names and further instructions.
For groups who choose to house in non-official ADA hotels, an additional registration fee of $200 per person will be assessed if your group requires Group Registration Services. In addition, a $75 shuttle pass per person will be required to use ADA's shuttle bus services.
Group Housing
To request a block of two or more rooms, submit your request online.
International Group Housing
ADA's International Groups Department is proud to offer all-inclusive group housing packages (for 5 rooms or more) to international attendees. Please visit the International Groups Department website for more information about ADA packages.
Exhibitor Registration
Exhibitor registration will open in February 2022. At that time, the Authorized Exhibitor Contact Personnel (as provided on the Exhibit Space Application) may register their Company's Booth Staff and/or Corporate Delegates using the User ID and Password provided by ADA Registration.
Please note:
Exhibitor Booth Staff are not allowed access into session Rooms, only Corporate Delegates can access sessions rooms, however they are NOT eligible for Continuing Educational Credit.
Exhibitor Housing
Exhibitors may reserve individual rooms (9 rooms or less) online (starting November 1, 2021) or may submit an online request for blocks of 10 rooms or more. All block requests will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
To reserve rooms, submit a request online by visiting the Exhibitor Housing website.
Press/Media
Credentialed members of the media may submit a request for complimentary registration. Media registration is limited to 2 individuals per outlet. Registration applications can be submitted to the ADA. If you have any questions, please send an email to SciSessionsPress@diabetes.org.
Please note:
Children under the age of 18, even if paid registrants, will not be admitted to session rooms, the Exhibit Hall, or the Poster Hall. Exceptions can be made for nursing mothers, but for safety reasons, strollers cannot be allowed in session rooms, the Exhibit hall and the Poster Hall. Children should be kept quiet as to not interrupt the sessions.
