Registration Changes or Cancellations
Name changes and substitutions are not permitted after April 21, 2022.

All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted through the ADA Registration & Hotel Support Center or faxed to (415) 293-4073.

For a full refund of the registration fee requests must be received by April 21, 2022.

Cancellation requests received after April 21, 2022 will receive a full refund of the registration fee less a $50 administrative fee. If you are unable to attend due to circumstances related to COVID-19 then a full refund may be issued.

ADA Research Foundation donations and Membership fees are non-refundable.

City Pins, Annual Review of Diabetes, and Shuttle Passes will be fully refundable if cancelled by May 26, 2022.

All attempts will be made to process refunds within 30 days of cancellation.

Hotel Changes or Cancellations
ADA Housing will continue to process reservations and changes subject to hotel availability until noon Pacific, Thursday, May 26.

Individual Attendees: must be cancelled at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival to avoid penalty charges. If you do not cancel your reservation in time or fail to check in on the scheduled date of your arrival your credit card will be charged in the amount of one night's room and tax or your check deposit will be forfeited. Your reservation will also be cancelled for the remainder of the stay.

For 2022, ADA will not enforce a performance/attrition policy. Should a group cancel their entire block (blocks of 10 rooms or more) they will be responsible for the following penalties*: May 3, 2022 - June 3, 2022: 50% of the Total Room/Suite Nights x the Single Room Rate.

*If your group is unable to attend due to circumstances related to COVID-19, you may cancel your reservation up to until 72 hours prior to arrival without penalty.

Students / Residents / Fellows

Students, Residents and Fellows must submit proof of status attesting to current enrollment as a student, employment as a resident or appointment as a fellow to receive discounted registration fees.

One of the following must be submitted:

* Student/Resident ID that has an expiration date. If your Student/Resident ID does not have an expiration date on it, you may send it along with a copy of your transcript or letter of acceptance from your educational institution or resident program.

OR

* A dated letter from your institution on letterhead, signed by an advisor or department head showing that you are currently enrolled as a student, employed as a resident, or have a fellowship.

To request the discounted registration fee please submit your proof of status to adasupport@cmrus.com or fax to (415) 293-4073. Upon receipt and verification of your proof of status you will be sent an Invitation Code via email to register.

Group Registration

Group registration is now closed. If you wish to register multiple attendees, please do so using the Not a Member? Tab above and pay each registration immediately via credit card. Unpaid registrations are deleted from our system on a regular basis.

Enter all registrations using each attendee’s verified email address, as confirmation with login instructions will be sent to the attendee’s email address. You will be able to send a copy of each confirmation to an additional email address for receipt purposes.

No name changes or substitutions are permitted.

Registration Fees, Membership Fees and Donations to the ADA Research Foundation are all non-refundable once purchased.

Access to all virtual content is available until June 12, 2022 or September 5, 2022. If you wish to register a new group to access the session recordings after June 12, 2022, please submit this request to adagroups@cmrus.com.

Press/Media

Credentialed members of the media may submit a request for complimentary registration. Media registration is limited to 2 individuals per outlet. Registration applications can be submitted to the ADA. If you have any questions, please send an email to SciSessionsPress@diabetes.org.




Please note:

Children under the age of 18, even if paid registrants, will not be admitted to session rooms, the Exhibit Hall, or the Poster Hall. Exceptions can be made for nursing mothers, but for safety reasons, strollers cannot be allowed in session rooms, the Exhibit hall and the Poster Hall. Children should be kept quiet as to not interrupt the sessions.
